Absorption Rate In Ardsley, New York


An absorption rate is the "Number of weeks it takes to sell the current inventory at the present rate of sales". According to the National Association of REALTORS if the absorption is under 6 months then it is a Seller's market and if it is over 6 months it is a buyer's market.

Based on November sales the absorption rate in Ardsley as of December 17, 2007 is 60 weeks.

I will do the absorption rate monthly so we can track the future direction. At this point we are in a buyer's market.
